Reacting to the news that Llandudno Hospital theatres are to remain closed for a further 5 weeks as repair works to a ventilation fault are undertaken, Janet Finch-Saunders AM said:

Welsh Medium Nursery School opens in Llandudno Junction | Meithrinfa Cyfrwng Cymraeg yn Agor yng Nghyffordd Llandudno

Parents living along the North Wales coast from Llanfairfechan to Kinmel Bay will now have access to a Welsh Medium Nursery.  Meithrinfa Gymreag Derwen Deg/ Derwen Deg Welsh Nursery will be the first nursery in North Wales to offer full-time childcare completely through Welsh thanks to a partnership between Grŵp Llandrillo Menai and Menter Iaith Conwy. Gall rhieni sy’n byw ar arfordir Gogledd Cymru o Lanfairfechan i Fae Cinmel yn awr anfon eu plant i Feithrinfa Cyfrwng Cymraeg. Meithrinfa Gymraeg Derwen Deg fydd y feithrinfa gyntaf yng Nghonwy i gynnig gofal plant llawn amser yn gyfan gwbl drwy gyfrwng y Gymraeg, diolch i bartneriaeth rhwng Grŵp Llandrillo Menai a Menter Iaith Conwy.

Aberconwy MP Guto Bebb was delighted to hear about a new £2 million unit which will act as a mini A&E centre for less serious injuries at Llandudno Hospital. Roedd Guto Bebb, Aelod Seneddol Aberconwy yn falch iawn o glywed bod uned fân anafiadau newydd wedi agor yn Ysbyty Llandudno ar gost o 2 filiwn o bunnau – y gobaith yw y bydd yr uned hon yn tynnu’r pwysau oddi ar yr adrannau Damweiniau ac Argyfwng.
